SUMMER CAMP: August 12 Week – Fleece & Flannel Fun - $225
Who doesn’t love cozy fabrics?
In this camp, participants learn how to make a warm fleece tie blanket and a set of customized flannel pajama pants! Students will learn sewing machine basics, cutting, and using an existing favorite pair of their pajama pants as a pattern. DO NOT FRET: your favorite pair will remain intact.
Use this patterning technique as often as you want to create a new, comfy pair!
This camp is geared for those entering 3rd grade and older. Prior sewing experience is recommended. If students are overachievers and finish early, we have a surprise project lined up.
Note regarding safety in the sewing studio:
Although not common, injuries can occur from using sharp tools, use of irons and sewing machine needle. We speak a lot about safe practices in the studio to help prevent injuries as much as possible, but they can happen. Please be sure to speak with your child about safety by being respectful of the tools and the importance of following the rules at the studio. Now, let’s have fun!!
